So I woke up this morning to this saying "There's only one true love in a lifetime" in essence if you screw it up, then you're screwed!! I guess this guy too felt the same way, or has probably heard the saying before for him to go through this STRESS. But lemme back up a bit so you can enjoy the story. 

Truck catches fire on Ikorodu road

Just this morning a petrol tanker lost control on Ikorodu road, flipped over and caught fire. Our ever reliable fire service  were on hand to fight the fire to a complete halt and my favourite arm of all the law enforcement agencies in Lagos, LASTMA, were also on hand to manage the traffic very effectively. No casualties report.

JUST ANOTHER EVENING IN LAGOS

You know how you are in a bus minding your business like any normal person would, waiting to get to your bus stop after a hard day's work. Well you know how its never possible for that to happen in Lagos Buses. One abnormal person must sha enter, making it two abnormal people in the bus (the conductor and the abnormal passenger). Well it happened last tonight, on my way back from work, dog tired and not in the mood for anything other than sleep, this woman beside me paid her fare and was about to relax when the conductor decided the money was too beat up for him to accept and he returned it. That's how the epic war of words began, I couldn't make a video because of fear for my head and respect for my phone and you know what *clear throat* but here's a recording of what went down for your hearing pleasure people.

The Trailer, The Wall and The Driver!

Good evening all! So we have the first story.

Imagine as some of you are laying on your beds at this time and you hear boom! What would you do? Lemme tell you what Mariam did! As a true Nigerian living in fear of Boko Haram she made a run for it. But here's what really happened as there are no bombers in Lagos. This trailer driver, either drunk or sleepy, decided the road wasn't good enough anymore and he needed to drive into compounds and he drove straight into Mariam's compound knocking down the wall of Jericho (their fence) that stood in his way. Have you ever heard when a fence falls? Well I have, and it sounds like shelling or bombings, so the whole family inside scampered for their lives. And guess what the driver did when it all came crashing down, he took to his heels. Hehehehe what do ya expect naa?  Talk about an August visitor ooh!

Based on the report from @Mr_Oyagiri on twitter, the soldier is not dead. He said "The military man wasn't killed, but knocked down by the BRT bus. He made calls in my presence afterwards. We begged him, but........."

Another passerby said he was slapped and asked to do frog jump.

CHAOS ON IKORODU ROAD

Soldiers have locked down Ikorodu road because one of them was knocked down from his bike and killed by a BRT bus. The cause of the accident is unknown but from the information we have gather the soldier was driving on the BRT lane.

Trust gone wrong (stolen car contd)

So the guy na acquaintance of the dealer. He came from yankee for a burial and said he didn’t have money to pay for the hotel he wanted to stay and was expecting money the following day so make them allow am sleep for their office that night.

For night now, the security guy come meet am say leg dey pain am and say he don try different kinds of remedies but e still dey worry am. The doctor now con talk say na injection go win am and luckily for am he get injection with am. That injection way him get na sedative and the security guy nor know so he receive am happily. 

STOLEN CAR

BEWARE!!! A toks 2011 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Silver colour with Vin/Chassis No: JTEBU5JR1B5034893 worth 7 million Naira was reported stolen yesterday. The car was allegedly stolen by one Dr Obafemi Richard Agbenla. He went to the dealer's office under the disguise of wanting to do business and then made away with the car. So yesterday morning, just we were driving out of the street, jejely heading to work, one drunk keke driver with his keke full of school kids, thought he was driving in the grand prix lost control and GBAM!!! All hell went loose in my head and I wanted to beat the guy black and blue(nor be say I too get power) but as I came down and saw one of the kids injured and the guy kneeling down and all he could say was “Ema binu sir”

ANOTHER BAD ACCIDENT ON ANOTHER RAINY DAY

Rainy days usually come with mad traffic and today was no exception. It took me 1 hour to leave Bode Thomas and made me get to work late, I'm sure it did same to plenty people. The genesis of the traffic is this accident below. It happened on Eko bridge. I don't know what caused it but its really terrible and I hope no lives were lost. LASU students block Lagos House

Students of Lagos State University LASU have been protesting the increase in the school fees for quite a while now. Them don protest for school, vandalize school property, carry the issue go house of assembly and much more but all this hasn't shaken our dear Governor's resolve. So yesterday their anger reached a new high and they decided they were going to spend the night in front of the Lagos State house. The hummer now, na woman dey drive am and una know as woman matter dey be na.....hehehe.. na so she use her motor pin that keke guy for corner say mehn you nor dey move anywhere. as she come down to look the damage na so argumenting start o. the keke guy start to dey beg beg up and down and as normal Lagos way the spectators start to beg too but the woman nor answer that one(normal woman way). she scoop the keke guy and him keke go house say them gats carry the matter go meet her "oga at the top"
